If your paper has been accepted for an oral presentation, you will have 15 minutes for your talk and 3 minutes for questions. Session chairs have been asked to adhere strictly to these times. Your paper can be presented in English, Spanish or Portuguese. We will provide a data projector and audio output with a computer (with PowerPoint and PDF reader). It will be possible for you to use your own notebook (with standard SVGA monitor output).
If your paper has been selected as a poster, there will be single poster sessions where you will be required to stand by your poster to interact with other delegates. The poster session starts on Monday the 2nd September during the welcome cocktail and then in each of the coffee breaks. Your poster needs to be of size A1 (594 mm x 841 mm) and in portrait orientation. This will be a useful opportunity to discuss your work and get feedback. We cannot guarantee that you will have an electricity point near your poster or a table for demos.
Paper submissions can be uploaded using our on-line system (you will need to register first, you can reload your paper up to the deadline date). For any problems with this system, please contact the Technical Chair

For a pdf version of the conference call for papers, please click here (there is also a larger (A2) version here if you want to print it and display it at work).

To prepare your camera-ready paper please use this Word template or the LaTeX template and then submit it in PDF only.

A selection of the best accepted papers in English (orals/posters) will be considered for indexation by INSPEC, provided that at least one author registers and presents/displays the work.

Electronic Media is related to the storage and delivery of multimedia data using electromechanical energy to access content. Networked and Electronic Media (NEM) is the convergence of media, communications, consumer electronics, and information technology by taking advantage of generalized broadband access, increased mobility, availability of richer media formats and contents, as well as new home networks and communications platforms.
