6th Latin American Conference on Networked and Electronic Media

23-25 September 2015, Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Sede Medellín, Medellín, Colombia

Electronic Media is related to the storage and delivery of multimedia data using electromechanical energy to access the content. Networked and Electronic Media (NEM) is the convergence of media, communications, consumer electronics, and information technology by taking advantage of generalised broadband access, increased mobility, availability of richer media formats and contents, as well as new home networks and communications platforms.

This conference follows the successful LACNEM events held previously in Colombia, Costa Rica and Chile, to bring together researchers, academics, industry, end-users, service providers and manufacturers on what is an emerging area to share experiences and explore fields where additional research, development and systems are needed and to identify possible collaboration locally and internationally.

The 6th Latin American Conference on Networked and Electronic Media (LACNEM-2015) focuses on fostering close links between Latin-American and non Latin-American players from academia and industry and intends to provide an ideal forum for researchers, practitioners and educators to discuss results and advancements in the field of Networked and Electronic Media (NEM), in a high quality and peer reviewed environment.
